SmashBros. Ultimate Team Roster

I'm a big fan of the smash bros so when twitter just exploded with a "draw your roster" hashtag I immediately wanted to be apart of the hype! It was more of a side project because I was still in the works helping with sprites for an indie game and it was my first time using Clip Studio Paint so it was a slower progression.

I started with Pikachu because the idea the pokemon would steal Lucina's mask and get away by shield surfing, like what Link can do in Breath of the Wild, on the Hylian shield is what inspired me to make this scene. After Pikachu turned out so well I jumped over to Link because I was aware on how cartoony he can be made to be. I'm aware his pose is a little nontraditional and unlikely would he would run like that but I wanted a more of state of over the top cartoon expression and gesture. Lucina took the longest since Fire Emblem has a distinct style and I wanted to capture that in my own way. She was re-drawn a couple times but this is the last progression.
